Formula Palmer Audi

Formula Palmer Audi, seen very much as a training ground for aspiring F1 drivers, with a number of graduates that have passed through the ranks and into Formula 1, with many more racing in other series such as Champ Cars, DTMs, Japanese Super GT, British & World Touring Cars to name but few.

All cars in the championship are owned, prepared and run by the FPA team, based in Bedfordshire and boasting its own test track. Every car is prepared to the same spec ensuring absolute equality providing a level playing field not usually witnessed within motorsport.

The cars have 300bhp from a 1.8 Litre turbocharged Audi engine with an ‘overboost’ facility providing a short term power boost increasing to 360bhp at the push of a button; modern technology!

With tremendous grip these single seater racing craft provide some spectacular racing here in the UK and often seen as support races to A1GP & DTM events, with 20 races over seven circuits.
